This post is dedicated to Mary Davis, who runs Tennessee River Rescues animal shelter in neighboring Crump, Hardin County. I met this dedicated lady a few years ago on one of our periodic visits. She rescues, rehabilitates, and cares for many homeless animals, mostly dogs. She also promotes adoption events regularly.
Mary does important work addressing a huge problem in this area - animal overpopulation and homelessness. I plan to do all I can to support Tennessee River Rescues, and if you love animals, I urge you to do the same.
Anyone with comments, questions or suggestions regarding the problem of homeless, abused, neglected or abandoned animals in our area - please post here! This is an issue near and dear to my heart, and I welcome your input more than I can say. Thank you!
